Dear reader, are you looking for a real honest review for the most affordable and homely accommodation in the friendliest City in South Africa… Port Elizabeth. If you are… then relax and read on.
Well at last, … .it’s now high time to get off my butt and write a review that is long overdue… naughty me… who has not return the hospitality received over the past few years… disgraceful conduct on my part, and it is about time to make amends! … knowing full well.. that I could do myself out of a room for writing this review, and ..dammmm..it.. take second best!
Our business is directly involved with servicing and installation of fall arrest systems around the country, and with a bit of offshore work in-between… and at times, we can arrive on the door step, … and at odd hours, tired, dirty, grumpy, and believe me… .baggage, and all.
In all this time, we have never once had reason to complain about Zareba Guesthouse.. Cathy is the owner and manager of Zareba Guest House, or the correctly expression is…our home from home!
There have been a few occasions when the dreaded accommodation famine hits the Port Elizabeth coast line, due to rugby, social events, conferences and the many other festivals that are held annually in and around this friendly city. Well, accommodation famine is not a problem… . somehow… and I am still trying to work out how!… Cathy will find … a home from home accommodation for us.
Being in business for many years has taught me well; it is very risky, allowing your client(s) an introduction to your opposition… ..but for Cathy’s … our well-being has always been her first priority!
I don’t know about you, but trying to find the right “home from home” with the right location for my guys for their time off … has always been a nightmare!
To date, my employees have always been very happy with Zareba Guesthouse’s location on Richmond Hill. They have and still all enjoyed a wide variety of so many restaurants, including the friendly pubs and one of the best steak houses I have had the pleasure to dine in… . and all within three minutes’ walk from Zareba Guesthouse… but that’s not all… . Mmmmmh… .closer still, are two newly opened wine-and-dine type restaurant/pubs, and both of them are within a short step from her door step, (5 seconds that’s all) at opposite ends of the street!
Come..on then..argue with me… but after a hard day’s work, after a long drive from gangsters, or after a roundhouse trip via the Cape of Storms, I can only recommend that you keep Cathy’s number close at hand when planning your next trip to or via the friendly city… I am still toying… .Should I delete this post…
PS… My little Jack (Jack Russell) has now an argument.. if he is left behind!
Travel safe, ardour!
